Lone Palm Labs, the parent company behind the social media app Retro, closed a Series A financing round that raised more than $21 million. The investors were Thrive Capital, Scribble Ventures, BoxGroup, Imaginary Ventures, Coalition, Conviction, Copper, Positive Sum, and Dylan Field of Figma.

The company said the additional capital will be deployed to further develop Retro, strengthen its friend‑centric social experience, and accelerate the platform’s growth trajectory.

The funding round underscores investor confidence in Retro’s business model and positions Lone Palm Labs to scale the app’s user base while consolidating its stance in the competitive social media landscape and enhancing its community features.
